Diagnose das práticas desportivas e da coordenação motora no ensino fundamental das escolas públicas das cidades de Urutaí, Ipameri e Pires do Rio, circunvizinhas ao CEFET-Urutaí-GO

Abstract

This work presents the results of a research accomplished in the second semester of 2003 with 410 students (both sexes) of the 8th grades of the fundamental teaching of 11 state public schools of the cities goianas of Urutaí, Pires do Rio and Ipameri, aiming the evaluation of the school sport developed in the physical education classes ,and 431 students (both sexes) of the 4th grades also of the fundamental teaching of the mentioned cities, aiming the evaluation of the level of motive coordination of that students. The intention of accomplishing that research happened, for the absence of motivation for the physical activity, motive difficulties and of the foundations of the modalities (volleyball, handball and basketball) that the students presented when entering in High School of CEFET-Urutaí ( Center Federal of Technological Education of Urutaí-GO). Tests evaluations of the technical foundations of the volleyball, handball and basketball were applied in 8th grades, besides a questionnaire containing subjects related to the school sport and, tests of motive evaluation (balance, lateral, global moving, direction notion, visual-motive coordination and concept formation) with the 4th grades. Besides questionnaires for directors and teachers of physical education of the institutions. Serious difficulties psicomotoras were detected, flaws in the execution of the inherent technical foundations to the modalities (basketball, volleyball and handball). And it was also obtained deficient result in the evaluation of the motive coordination, mainly in the feminine sex, what was confirmed by the application of the test of the Qui-square, as well as, the students’ absence of motivation for the sports and for the physical activity. It is inferred, then, that the work of motive coordination and development of the basic abilities, how to jump, to run, to arise, to fling and to throw objects, to bounce the ball etc, in the first grades of the fundamental teaching, besides a good sport initiation in inclusive way of the researched modalities are deficient, or they are not being worked in the public institutions of fundamental teaching investigated. The development of the research happened through the study, predominantly quantitative according to the approach construtivista in the construction of knowledge that, evidently didn't spare the qualitative analysis.
